Davie is located approximately 5 miles west of Fort Lauderdale, FL. . The town has a reputation as a “western” town with many of the buildings featuring the architecture of the Old West. There exists a significant horse-owning population and has a rodeo arena located downtown. With it’s horse trails, parks, and excellent schools Davie is considered a great place to live for families. Flamingo Gardens, Burgeron Rodeo Grounds, Nova Southeastern University, The Old Davie School, and the Miami Dolphins Training Facility are all located in Davie.
Davie is an amazing place to live. It gives you a sense of living in a small country town. It has amazing people and who can forget about the rodeo. The orange blossom parade would have to be my favorite because it brings everyone together. I would have to say it’s a cozy town and has amazing schools in the area. -Niche.com reviewer
Davie is a beautiful area with friendly neighborhoods. Conveniently close to plenty of shopping centers, markets, and other services. Traffic is very mild and low crime rates. Entertainment is near by if wanting to go to a bar or club or if you want to relax by a park. The people are very nice. Highly recommended it to live in. -Niche.com reviewer
